I found this while perusing the Economic Policy Journal. Robert Weznel writes:
The only hope they [Greece] have is to open up the markets, eliminate the bureaucracy and allow businessmen to operate. Businessmen, when they are unencumbered by bureaucratic red tape, are incredibly creative about finding ways to employ the unemployed. Ground zero right now for the battle between the state versus a private property society is Greece.
Greece is a living example of what can happen to us here in the US of A. Large populations look to the government for answers. Government is inefficient and government political leaders tend to be corrupt. (That’s why leftist solutions never work.) Because of the inefficiencies and the corruption, government should only be the solution of last resort, kind of like borrowing money from a loan shark. You only go there if you absolutely have to.
Greece’s present will become our future if the leftists continue controlling the American government for a sufficient length of time.
Stumble it!
