The liberal attempts to create gay marriage through legislation are doomed to fail. Gay marriage just doesn’t happen in nature. There are few if any examples of cultures that have gay marriage, while straight marriage is found in most or all cultures. The human tendency for straight marriage comes from human nature, while gay marriage does not.
The liberal agenda to create an institution of gay marriage is completely artificial. It is an attempt to create something in human nature that did not exist before. That doesn’t work. Legislation cannot change human nature. Characteristics cannot be added to human nature or removed from it by passing laws.
Human nature comes from God, not from liberal fantasies.
Being homosexual does not make someone corrupt. It makes them the person God created them to be. Accept that.
But also accept that our social inclination to have straight marriage, and not gay marriage, makes us the creatures God created us to be.
Acting contrary to the laws of Nature’s God invites problems. Always.
Stumble it!

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackThe only point I disagree on is that God intends anyone to be homosexual. It says plainly in the Bible that "man shall not lay with man, nor shall woman lay with woman, nor shall man lay with beast". God does not want nor intend for homosexuality, but I do believe that whatever your spiritual weaknesses are, you will have severe temptation to overcome that weakness and become the true person God intends for you to be. It's just one of God's tests that some people are failing miserably, and sad to say, they are proud of it.
I know I'm way late to this…but I stumbled across this article and couldn't let it pass me by. "Gay marriage just doesn't happen in nature?" Um…humans are the only ones who marry in this world. It doesn't happen (much) because in most places it's currently AGAINST THE LAW to get married. If it were not against the law — and not so frowned upon by so many nut jobs that claim to love God and everything HE stands for while viciously HATING other human beings — it would happen. But, FYI, homosexuality HAS been observed in actual nature — it has been observed in over 1,500 species. It happens.
"Acting contrary to the laws of Nature’s God invites problems. Always." Okay, but if you — as you stated above — believe that being a homosexual does not make someone corrupt and in fact makes them the person God created them to be isn't it possible that the ones acting contrary to the laws of Nature's God are the ones against homosexuality and homosexual marriage?
This site is supposed to be Deist? Very strange. It's seems very conservative and seems to represent the exact opposite of what Deism usually represents…
Marie, deism is not about anything. Deism is a mythos.
A mythos is one's mental model of the universe. "The universe was created in seven days and is controlled by the unseen God of Abraham." "The universe exists on the back of a giant turtle." "There is no god and the universe is basically one big accident." Those are all examples of mythos.
Mythos is not religion. Religion has specific beliefs about the proper relation between man and god. It has rituals. Religion is very much about activity and a clear-cut set of beliefs.
Deism is a mythos. It means that someone or someone's model of the universe holds that god created the universe, and god doesn't intervene through prophets other divine beings.
People in western civilization have been trying for centuries to make a religion out of deism and haven't been too successful.
Some people treat their own beliefs about deism as the final word on deism. Their own beliefs (your own personal beliefs) are not the final word on what deism is and is not.
This site is about Jeffersonian Deism, which is to say, it is centered around the spiritual ideals of Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson's ideals are at or near the center of the ideals of conservativism, so this site is conservative.
At this moment in time the ideals embraced by Thomas Jefferson are under attack by the American left. True American liberalism is about freedom. In case you didn't get the memo, freedom means freedom from the impositions of government. Government cannot change human nature by legislation, even though it will always try.
Sorry but when I look at the cultures of the world, I just don't see gay marriage occurring naturally, just as I don't see deist religion happening in culture.
Perhaps you could enlighten us by referring us to some examples of cultures that have clearly have gay marriage as part of their social make up (excluding recent examples where gay marriage was forced on the society by legislation).
Since, according to your theory, all the different cultures are making gay marriage illegal contrary to human nature, we can deduce that someone or something must be tricking or forcing societies to make gay marriage illegal. Perhaps you can explain what great conspiracy is forcing all the different cultures with all their different religions and politics to make gay marriage illegal.
