You read that right.  The US government is giving Al Gore $529,000,000 to build a hybrid electric car in Finland.  The money comes in the form of a loan.  After the Finnish car company is build, it will sell the cars for $89,000 a piece. 

Why are we lending hundreds of millions of dollars to build a foreign car company?  

Where is the loyalty of the federal government to the people?
