Our Alinskyite Community Organizer-in-Chief was busted for using the NEA to fund his neo-fascist agenda.  I’ll summarize parts of a conference call between White House staff, NEA staff and members of the arts community who use NEA funds.  The White House is asking these artists to support something called United We Serve which is our Alinskyite COiC’s community organizing branch.   Nell Abernathy, the president of United We Serve, is on the call.  Buffy Wicks, an Obama White House representative, is on the call too.

Buffy discusses some of the presidential strategy for state-driven community organizing.  In this must-read conversation she makes it clear that the purpose of United Serve is to get everyday people connected with “federal agencies, with labor unions, progressive groups, face groups, women’s groups, you name it.”  They want their state-driven community organizing to be a ”an onramp to a lifetime of service.”  They want it imbued into our everyday lives.  Buffys says ”We really want service to be incorporated into people’s daily lives.  We want people to think of service on a regular basis, commit to doing service on a regular basis, that they feel they can contribute.”

They want everyone focused on four areas:

They want people deeply involved in health care.  They don’t know how and obviously don’t care. They just want people involved.  Buffy says “So we focus on the four main areas:  One is health care.  We met with Health and Human Services and thought through there are ways we can have organizations and individuals work with HHS and others to be effective.  Is it preventative health care?  Is it children’s nutrition?  What are the main issues?  What’s the main focus there?”  The focus is on the state-driven community organizing, not on solving specific problems.  To Obama, the fact that we aren’t involved in community organizing is the problem.  Health care just is a means to get people community organized.

Second was energy and and environment.  Buffy suggests working with the conservation voters and the Sierra Club on this.

Third was education.  Specifically getting kids to read.  By itself, not a problem.

Fourth is “community renewal” which is about “food shelters, homeless shelters.”  Again, by itself no problems here.

Problem #1, in an Acorn nutshell, is that Obama is trying to federalize charity.

There is nothing wrong with charity.  I do this kind of stuff myself.  The huge problem with all of this is that Obama’s fanatic fringe kooky left community organizing background is deeply involved in it.  As I and many others have already documented, far left mentalities are using these means as and end to push the United States of America towards kook left.

The second problem as Leigh Scott and Heritage and others point out is that it is all unethical at best, and illegal at worst.  Folks are requesting a Congressional investigation into all of this.  The government shouldn’t be funneling federal funds to propagandists to promote this kind of garbage.  Charity begins at home, not the White House.

I have some issues about Constitutionality.  Shouldn’t the NEA be politically neutral?  If the state is paying for political propaganda to support one party, that would be an offense to the First Amendment because the state is controlling communication, which as we all know is a really big no-no.
