Tomorrow, other, more knowledgeable people, will tear apart Obama’s speech, lie by lie. I just want to make a few comments off the top of my head. Here are the main reasons why tonite’s speech on HR 3200, the Socialized Medicine bill, will be yet another Obama failure.
People want him to be working on jobs and the economy, not his pet socialized medicine bill.
Why is he making this big to-do about socialized medicine while the public is suffering economically? This speech showed where his priorities are, and they aren’t about taking care of we the people. The best thing to do about health care right now is to fix the economy so people can pay for health care. ”Fixing” the best health care system in the world can wait for later.
He sounded nervous.
Obama received more cat calls than any presidential speech to Congress that I can recall. He seemed to finish the speech rattled and with his confidence shaken. He did not sound confident. If anything Obama’s anger came out.
The people don’t want socialized medicine.
Obama’s continued un-American tact of trying to force this unconstitutional bill on the people without the people’s consent is going to come back and bite him. This act goes entirely against American principles.
His argumentativeness was too complex.
People don’t hear complex arguments. The sophistry of most of his arguments went in one ear and out the other for most listeners.
He gave a big call-out Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Governor Sarah Palin for standing up against the bill.
Having a common social enemy may have worked in Nazi Germany, Barack Obama, but it will not work in the USA. Publicly attacking just and reasonable people like Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck, who are the best fighters against your bill, will turn out to be huge tactical mistake. These three champions should each send you a big note of thanks for the free advertising you have given them. You effectively named the people you are most afraid of.
Stumble it!
