Barack Obama is giving a speech to school kids this morning.  I don’t know what is in it and it doesn’t really matter.  I already got the good news about this speech on the TV morning news. 

Half the story is the contents of the speech.  That part is no big deal.  

The big deal is that there was a storm of protest, published in the news about parents protesting against his speech.  Some schools are giving their parents the option of sending their kids to do something other than listen to the speech if it is presented in their classroom.  

The message that came across over and over this morning is that parents are complaining about Obama’s leftist extremism.  The contents of the speech don’t matter.  They just don’t like the guy’s extreme politics.  Parents don’t want their kids exposed to the guy period.
